Roberto Anker

  • Prior to founding Proventus, Mr. Anker worked in the Latin American Investment Banking and Private Equity departments at Morgan Stanley. His work, in the New York and São Paulo offices, focused on advising Latin-American clients in transactions with an aggregate value exceeding US$3 billion and in making investments for Morgan Stanley MSGEM´s Fund.
  • Mr. Anker has a Systems Engineering degree with High Distinction from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Harvard Business School. At Proventus, Mr. Anker has been the team leader in projects with Pronaca, El Kiosko, Casabaca, Prisa and Tesca.
  • Mr. Anker serves on the Boards of Directors of ATU Artículos de Acero, Aglomerados Cotopaxi and Zaimella.
Roberto Anker

Daniel Steiner

  • Mr. Steiner worked as an investment banker in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Technology Groups at Lehman Brothers. After Lehman Brothers, Mr. Steiner joined Bain and Company as a Case Team Leader, engaging in strategic consulting projects in the U.S. and in Latin America as a member of the Firm’s New York and Mexico City offices. His experience includes providing advisory services to Private Equity funds in due diligence and post-acquisition strategies of portfolio companies.
  • Mr. Steiner is an Industrial Engineer – Cum Laude, from Cornell University, and has a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA with Honors from Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
  • Since joining Proventus, Mr. Steiner has been team leader in a variety of projects in the financial, industrial, and consumer and retail sectors, including the advisory to Latam on the sale of Rampas Andes to Talma, purchase of Inalecsa by Arca Continetal, and as the leader in the valuation and analysis of strategic alternatives for the Banco del Pacífico financial group.

Francisco Arosemena

  • Mr. Arosemena is in charge of representing Proventus in Guayaquil.
  • Francisco's professional experience includes being the CEO of Ecuavisa and is currently an organizational consultant, specialized in Revenue Management. In the government of Dr. Gustavo Noboa, he was Executive Director of COPEFEN for the reconstruction of the coast following the El Niño Phenomenon, Secretary of the President and Minister of Finance and Economics. He is also Member of the Board of Directors of INCAE Business School and the Fulbright Commission Ecuador. Furthermore, he is president of the Board of Fundación Botanico de Guayaquil and the Ecuadorian Association of Orchidology.
  • Mr. Arosemena was a Fulbright Scholar in the University of Kansas, graduated in Business Administration and with honors in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Nicolás has been a member of the Proventus team as an analyst and an associate, where he worked on several transactions in the financial, hospitality, insurance and consumer goods sectors.

Lorena Vivanco

  • B.A. Magna Cum Laude in Economics and Finance from Universidad San Francisco de Quito. MA with honors in International Business and International Political Economic Development from Webster University and London School of Economics, respectively.
  • Before joining Proventus, Lorena worked as a Brand Manager in Toyota Ecuador where she also served as the supply and demand analyst. Prior to that she worked as an account manager in Electrolux Ecuador.

Andres Meneses

  • Graduated Summa Cum Laude in Economics from Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
  • During his time in college, Andres was involved in many extracurricular activities including the organization of the first TEDxUSFQ and a congress that commemorated 15 Years of Dollarization in Ecuador. He also worked as an assistant editor for the Business School academic journal.
